Tower Crane Hire

City Lifting originally started as a tower crane hire company. From our launch in 1981 with two second-hand Potain tower cranes, we now run a varied fleet of around 70 cranes which are serviced at our Purfleet depot but stored at Colsterworth in Lincolnshire.

We provide larger Flat Top cranes from Comansa, Luffing tower cranes from Wolff and Raimondi and the new folding jib Raptor 81 from Artic Cranes.

Self-drive, self-erecting cranes are also available for smaller sites.

We provide ourselves on giving an excellent service, including:

Erection and dismantling of cranes on time
Fast efficient cranes
12-month independent inspection (6-monthly on request)
Regular servicing and inspection by our own technicians

We were called in to rescue a forklift which had been accidently built into a shop.
