Articulated Jib Crane

We operate folding jib cranes from Tornborgs and Artic Cranes.

Advantages of this type of crane are:

• Very small out of service radius
• Faster operation than Luffers due to the shorter length of the hoist rope and the very quick jib folding movement
• Drivers like this type of crane as the driving characteristics are the same as a flat top trolley crane
• Our new Raptor 84 is a brand new crane, unique to City Lifting, with greater load moment (2 tonnes at 32 metres), better max capacity at 4 tonnes, more hoisting power at 30kw - all this and still on a 1.2 metre square tower
